At the Calamvale Veterinary Clinic we strive to provide exceptional service and outstanding care to both our clients and patients. We are all passionate about our job and are constantly updating our knowledge to be able to deliver the most recent treatment and advice. This clinic also boasts modern equipment and a fresh new look.
The Calamvale Veterinary Clinic has been established as a local business for nearly ten years under the previous owners Dr Kurt Verkest, Dr Annette Page, Dr Judy Seton and Dr Rowan Seton. It was purchased in June 2007 by Dr Sophie Colonna who has poured all her efforts into its continuing success and reputation. She was devoted to providing a high standard of care coupled with a warm and personalized service. Recently the clinic was sold in December 2011 to Dr Shibly Mustapha, who worked here previously for some time. Shibly is highly motivated and will continue to provide the level of care and service you all know.
We are a small animal practice and provide a variety of services to most small animals including native wildlife and exotic animals. We donate alot of time and money into supporting our wildlife and wildlife careers. We have a no euthanasia policy with all wildlife unless necessary, as we try to give them the best opportunity to be released.
Multi Award Winning Clinic
In the past year alone we have won three major awards, the first being in February 2010 which was the AVA Pfizer Practice of Excellence award. This alone is a major industry achievement. This award was only given to 6 practices Australia wide and was based on outstanding customer service.
Our second achievement was winning the Telstra Business Awards for Micro Businesses. This is a major award as we were up against all sorts of businesses around Queensland. Due to winning the Micro Business award, we travelled to Sydney on the 20th August 2010 to compete for the nationals. We went up against other finalist from around Australia but unfortunately missed out, never the less we now have the medium business award in our sights for the future.
